Export authority: Wildlife Act not protected and game

Apply for an authorisation to export live birds (not protected) or dead birds (not protected or game, whole or in parts).
The authority is issued immediately and is valid for 1 year. It can be used once, and cannot be altered after payment.
The fee for this authority is NZ$207.00 (non-refundable, includes GST). You must sign into an account and pay online by card.

No authority is needed to export domestically raised fowl, ducks, geese, turkeys, or pheasants.
Find out if you need additional permits. For example, if the species is listed under the Trade in Endangered Species Act 1989 , you must also get a separate CITES permit. This export authority does not replace a CITES permit.CITES permits , MPI - Export goods
